Cough, Wheezing Sound. While Cough, Chest Seems Heavy. Throat Not Clear. Use Xaria Instead Of Xaria Plus?

Today my has prescribed a tablet called Xaria Plus, but it is not available in the market. Can I take Xaria instead of Xaria Plus as which is available in the market. Can both these tables be used for the same purpose. I have cough and wheezing sound while coughing and my chest seems to be heavy but dr said i dont have chest congestion. My throat also not clear giving sticky feeling always.... Please advise me dr. Thanks, Uma

Hello and welcome to HCM ,

I have understood your concern in not finding the particular tablet you seek.

Xaria is levocetrizine which is an antihistamine which will take care of your sneezing and nasal and throat irritation.

While xaria plus apart from levocetrizine is also having a pain killer and also a decongestant, this will take of any pain which you may have along with the sticky feeling of the mucous which you are feeling.

The tablets similar to xaria plus in the market include dolo cold, action 500, sinarest, solvin cold to name a few.
