Coughing With Coloured Sputum, No Temp And Preceded By Fever?

I saw my family practice physician ontuesday morning. Ex rays taken no pneumonia. He s a good doc. Onset of his diagnosis on Monday PM. Adult rsv. Coughing worse with colored sputum hurts to cough. Not sure if I have a fever. Didn t ontuesday. 65 year who has had pneumonia before go to ER? Male

I need to ask few things.. colored means which color. Is it yellow (seen in infection), is it red(it is haemoptysis), is it green (seen in fungal infection).other thing about your habit. Are you smoker. Than chances of lower respiratory tract infection is more. So consult yor pulmonologist for this.
