Could Amitriptyline Be Taken With Syndopa?

hi, my mom has been diagnosed with PD about 4 months ago and she is 68 years old. Her general physisian gave ropark and artane but when we went to a nerologist he asked to stop artane and ropark and only take syndopa cr half a tablet in the morning. she is having lot of pain and uneasyness and what can we do? she has started taking amitriptyline 10mg at night for pain and sleeplessness and is it ok to take it with syndopa? pls help
