Could CFS Have Affected The Heart To Work Harder?

I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in 1988. I was fortunate that my company's insurer put me through a rehab program for 2 years and I've had considerable success with the techniques I learned.
In December 2010 I was diagnosed as having had a heart attack (type - silent heart attack) and had 2 stents inserted.
I'm wondering, because ME/CFS affects muscles, and the heart is not only and organ but a muscle, could my heart (shows considerable thickening) have been working extra hard to compensate for my body's muscles being ineffective? Sandi In Kingston

HI
Well come to HCM
Look fatigue is the sign of some disease and this is not the disease it self, if you feel some fatigue then there could be some underlying cause for this, again fatigue can not be long lasting, to me this could be your stressful condition and not any kind of pathology, better keep your self away from the anxiety and depression, take care.
