Could Clindamycin Be The Cause For Elevated Blood Pressure?

Hello - I m a very healthy 73 yr old woman. My normal BP at home is 140--150/80s--low 90s. Usually it s 145/85. It s always higher at the dr office. I am being treated with Clindamycin because I fell against a tree stump (I live in the country and was backing up my wheelbarrow and backed into the stump). It ripped the skin off, and I thought it was healing, then after a week I noticed pus pockets. i went to Urgent Care Monday 4/6, and they prescribed 600 mg of Clindamycin 4 times a day. I ve taken 4 doses so far. I didn t feel well, and took my BP about an hour ago - it was 216/113. Could the cllindamycin have caused that? Or the infection? The pus is being cultured and I go back tomorrow for a dressing change.
