Could Mirena Coil Insertion Cause Elevated Cholesterol Levels?

Hi I am 47 yrs old 5ft 8 and 10 at 4lbs. Have been to hospital today with a gotta on my neck. Had bloods done and all fine except my cholesterol is 6.6 which is rather high. I am always careful what I eat spray oil baked and not fried food don t eat chips lots of fruit. Very surprised at result. I have discovered that by having the marina coil I have contributed to harming my cholesterol level. I am due to have a removal and newly fitted marina coil next Wednesday but am seriously considering not having it replaced. I also had a cyst ovary and Fallopian tube removed last year and my hormones have not really settled down yet. It s just one thing after another.
