Could PCOS Relapse On Stopping Use Of Oral Contraceptives?
Hi.. I am 24yrs old, I was diagnosed with PCOS 6yrs ago.. I have been on one or the other contraceptive pills since then. I was wondering if it would be safe to stop taking them now. Once before when i discontinued the use of OCs, my PCOS relapsed. Will it happen again if I stop them?
PCOS is a difficult condition to treat and relapse is common. Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause.
