Could A Trace Amount Of Protein Found In Urinalysis Due To Having Protein Shake And 1 Tsp Of Creatine Everyday ?
Just had a urinalysis which showed a trace amount of protein . I drink a recovery protein shake per day and ingest 1tsp of creatine a day. Could these things be the reason for the test result and is this something I should be concerned about?
Welcome to HCM.
Detection of protein in the urine, combined with a microscopic exam of urinary sediment, provides the basis for the differential diagnosis of renal disease.
Sometime it may affected by diet.Better go for urine test after 3 to 4 days.
If it is present again than go for further investigations to rule out the diagnosis.
