Could Abdominal Pain And Severe Back Pain Be Related To Hiatal Hernia?

I've been having abdominal pain (started 12/23) mixed with sometimes severe lower back pain near kidneys, had an MRI yesterday and they found a hiatal hernia. Is it likely that the back pain is associated with the hernia? Pain is low in the morning and gets progressively worse as the day wears on.

Hi.
IT is likely that the abdominal pain is associated with hiatal hernia.
The low back pain may not be associated with hiatal hernia. IT can be due to local problems of muscles or spine. I would advise you to have a consultation with an Orthopedic surgeon to confirm or rule out the diagnosis.
