Could Black Floater In Eye With Headache Indicate Brain Tumor?

Seeing a black floater in my right eye which has been going on for a few months now. I have been seen by an opthalmogist twice now & he has not seen anything out of the ordinary. He said it may be a brain tumor so I do have an appointment to see my family physician in June. This condition also is accompanied by headaches. I am a 27 year old female, & this all developed about 6 months after having my baby. I have just developed bruising on my arms for no apparent reason.

Black floaters are not associated with brain tumors and the chance of one after being seen by the ophthalmologist twice makes it more remote. This is because the eye doctor is well trained in picking up one of the most common signs of a brain tumor called PAPILLEDEMA- seen by looking in the eyes. If they've not seen this classic sign of problem then, your chances of a brain tumor is near nil. Please rate this as a 5 STAR ENCOUNTER and feel free to contact me at: XXXX with more questions.
