Could Blood In Urine Be The Symptom Of Vaginal Atrophy?
I am a 55 year old female with a complete hysterectomy with ovary removal 7 years ago. the surgery was to reduce my risk of bc by removal of ovaries. strong history of bc but ive never had it and don t carry the braca gene. also was on tomoxifin for 5 years profelacticly 3 weeks ago I fell down back steps and ended up in hospital. no broken bones but they did a urine test to be sure I had not injured kidneys. Urine came back with wbc. they gave me an antibiotic and told me to take it til gone. Turns out I did not have a bladder infection so I stopped taking antibiotic. Today I went to the bathroom and thought i noticed a couple specs of blood in toilet. No sure if it was something else in toilet I waited a while and went again. This time i notice a much smaller speck which looked like blood. since then i have had not blood at all when urinating. I have vaginal atrophy as told by my gyn. poor thing you have a vagina of a 87 year old This was about 3 years ago. Anyway ran to my doctor today and they tested urine and it came back fine. She suggested I have a ultrasound to make sure I didn t injure kidneys when I fell 3 weeks ago and while they are ultra sounding me they also did my bladder. Any comments would be appreciated. waiting for results of ultrasound
