Could Brownish Fluid Spotting After Having Unprotected Sex Suggest Early Periods?

I m 16 years old. Me and my boyfriend were idiots and had unprotected sex Saturday night, but he did not cum in me. I have been on birth control, But Yesterday I started getting spotting But it was more of a brownish fluid then red.. I m suppose to get my period in 6 days, Do you think this is more of just an earlier period or am I pregnant...

Hi,
If you are regular with your birth control pills, you are amply protected. Moreover, if you had the unprotected intercourse during the latter half of the cycle, and not around mid-cycle, it is safe. The cause of the discharge could be premenstrual breakthrough as happens sometimes during extreme stress and during pill usage. You are very unlikely to get pregnant; just wait for your next period and if you do not see it, get expert help for further management. Please maintain a healthy weight, genital hygiene and a healthy diet. Take care.
