What Causes Irregularity In Periods After Taking Gianvi?
I have been taking Ginavi for about six months and I havent skipped any pills or anything. Ive been taking one pill every day at 6 pm and taking the white pills when I come to it, then start a new pack, EVEN if my period starts early, I just keep on taking the pills scheduled for that day no matter what. When I first started the pills I did a sunday start. BUT ever since the first month taking them.... I STILL have my period almost twice a month and its never ever on time. It's always been irregular but I thought birth control was supposed to help this! What am I doing wrong???

Gianni is a combined type of contraceptive. You are taking it regularly. In spite of that, you get bleeding twice a month. This is a regular side effect seen with the brand Gianvi you are taking. Please don't worry. This side effect is known to disappear after 6-8 months of starting the pill. If you have exaggerated symptoms or lack of periods ..visit your treating doctor for further check up &alteration of dosage or the contraceptive itself.
