Could Consuming Metformin Be The Cause Of Delayed Period?
My period is over 3 weeks late. I've had 4 hpt done weekly using first morning urine and all are negative. My period has been regular the past couple of years but was irregular when I was in my teens, I'm 26 now. I don't have pcos but I took metformin for a month from 0ct 20-nov30...about 1500 mg day. The abrubtly stopped taking it. My last period was nov 24. What are the chances I'm pregnant? If not, what could be causing it?

Thanks for asking the question and i had gone through the case ,first you did not mention for what you are taking the metformin. Metformin does not effect the period cycle.Either you wait for some time or consult to your local physician.Hope you will get the satisfied answer.
