Could Delayed Periods Be Due To Withdrawal Of Contraceptive Pills?

Hi I ve been taking the contraceptive pill for 12 years and decided to give my body a break after my last period back in November last year. I have now had no period since the 25th November, and so this February will be the third month without my period. I ve read online that it can take anywhere from two to six months to become fertile and begin regular periods again after coming off of the pill. My question is, could I still get pregnant during these current months I am not having a period? I am not looking to get pregnant just yet! Thanks for your help.
