General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Generally, as such eating lemon would not affect menstrual cycle.
Lemon is a citrus fruit which contains a water soluble vitamin called 'Ascorbic acid' or 'Vitamin C'.
It is a versatile vitamin with main function being integrating the connective tissues. It keeps most of the tissues healthy. Also it has action as an antioxidant.
It could be that Vitamin C has helped you to keep the uterus and endothelium healthy and hence your periods aren't heavy. There might be other contributing factors as well.
Anyway, it is good that you are keeping fit and healthy.
Kindly continue the same.
Wish you good health.
