Could Electric Shock Like Feeling In Upper Body While Coughing Indicate Heart Attack?
I coughed and my upper body felt like I was receiving a strong electric shock. I can still feel it in my back and shoulders. I also have some aching in my left arm I feel a little shaky. My breathing sneers fine. Can you tell me what happened? Am I having a heart attack?
Hello I appreciate your concern It might not be a heart attack, it could be be due to coughing which is produced due to forceful contraction of diaphragm and intercostal muscles
I would like further informationt to help you better Your age and relevant medical history Since how long you have coughing? Does it associated with shortness of breath and chest pain? Do you smoke or drink?
