Could Elevated Creatinine Level In Blood Cause UTI?
Hello doctor, I am 27 years old person, I have MVP since childhood, last month I went for a routine blood check up, everthing was normal except blood creatine level, blood creatine was 1.1 it raised from 0.7(last year check up). I was taking Riconia(vitamin tablet) for the last 6 months. Immediately after my recent blood check up, i got Urinary tract infection. Whether my elevatied creatine will be a reason for UTI or it will decrease after i get cured with UTI.
* Actually the reason of raised creatinine is urinary tract infection and possible lack of hydration which may affect the glomerular filtration and other parameters of the kidneys.
* The urine culture with culture sensitive antibiotics are the main source of controlling the issue.
Maintain hydration with plenty of liquids for the time being approached. Control the blood sugar for best recovery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
