Could Epidural Injection Cause Herpes Outbreak?
My friend has herpes 2 and had an epidural injection in her spine for bulging discs in L3-L4 and L4-L5. Two weeks later she had a full-blown herpes outbreak. Could the injection have caused the outbreak because the herpes had been dormant for a long time?
