Could Episodes Of Chest Pain, Breathlessness And Burping With Family History Of Heart Disease Indicate Heart Issues?

Hi, in recent weeks I have had two episodes with similar symptoms: Chest pain or constant pain at sternum, difficulty catching my breath and burping. Of course I would like to rule out a heart issue.... I have a family history of heart disease. Thanks, David

Hi,
I read your query and understood your concern.
What you are feeling may be related to angina and heart disease, especially in you with a positive familiar history for heart disease .
So i suggest a full cardiac examination with ECG, cardiac ECHO, stress test TMT and Holter (24 hours rhythm monitoring).
If everything is ok than don't worry and live a healthy lifestyle to prevent the heart disease in the future.
Hope i answered to your query.
