What Causes Persistent Chest Pain Every Morning?

I have chest pains every morning- relieved by nitro spray. I take a proton pump inhibitor because my drs. think it is esophageal spasms. What tests should I get to verify this? Heart disease was checked out and ruled out. (I already am well managed with my heart disease). How much does it cost to consult you?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As long as the chest pain is concern the only test and it is the important test and that is EKG, it is the first test need to be done, if this is okay, then comes the hyper-acidity (GERED) Esophagus reflux inflammatory condition, these two conditions needs to be ruled out beside these it can be allergic condition, infection, muscular spasm and other.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain,
