Could Gastritis Be Due To Elevated Liver Enzymes?

dear doctors,my sgpt was 100 a two weeks back.my ldl was high and so was my triglycerides.i am on a strict diet and am taking udiliv 300 twice a day.my bp too is slightly high.i get a lot of gas in my stomach.i get dizziness and unrest from time to time especially after eating food .is the gas a seperate problem or due to the liver.can i go out to work or should i rest.what about morning walks and a jog.

No, the gas problem is not related to your liver.

It may be either a problem with gastric acid reflux and gastritis, or it could be an H pylori bacterial stomach infection.

Were I your doctor, I would screen you for H pylori and give you a prescription for Prilosec. If the H pylori screen is positive, that can be treated with a course of antibiotics
