Could Having Rashes On Lower Lip Of Mouth, Developing Influenza, Soreness In Mouth Be Due To Herpes?
My son developed a small rash on his lower lip/mouth...I believed that he developed it as a result of drooling because he always drool from that part of his mouth while sleeping. A few days later he developed influenza and was out of school for a week. During his week of the flu her developed a sore on his mouth. He picked at the sore and now it looks bad. However it appears to be going away but there is that rash and mark left from the sore. A family member is telling me that this is a sigh of Herpes which is very contagious. No on in my family ever had any sore like this ... My son is 9 years of age
