Could High WBC Cause Pimple Like Lumps On Body And Swollen Face?
Hi for the last 8 weeks my White blood cells have been high I took antibiotics three times. And my issue will not go away. I m getting pimples all over my body at first they are hard and become a lump. Then they get soft and turn white like a zit but much bigger and they get very thick. Sometimes I am able to just pop it and let it drain itself it will it will lulus possible come out. The skin around it just falls away and I wind up with a crater this is happening all over my body now my face is getting swollen and Benadryl is not helping I was told it was in abscessed however they re all over my body. And only getting worse
Your description will indeed require an elaborate evaluation by a doctor and checking multiple blood parameters.
But with the current description I would say either a viral infection (which is why you are not responding to the antibiotics), a staph infection requiring a different set of antibiotics than those already used or a furuncle or carbuncle issues.
Either way, all these are vague assumptions and a physical examination will be mandatory.
Best wishes
