General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the long term use of heavy doses of meth indicates that there are high chances of withdrawal symptoms.

* The abdomen cramps and bloating are in concern with the withdrawal features of the Meth use.

* Certain guidelines for better recovery

- drink more liquids as hot tea, coffee, lemon juice etc

- antacid as ranitidine tablet on empty stomach

- avoid all spices, non veg, dairy fat

- manage to have regular, smooth bowel evacuation

- tablet dicyclomine or drotaverine on as and when requirement for control of abdomen spasm.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
