Could I Be Pregnant With A Negative Hpt?

2 days before expected period that was also 12 dpo I started clear pink dc that continued to today day of expected period 14 dpo. It is now darker much lighter than my usual period by far. On first round clomid and today hpt was negative. Could I still be pregnant?

Hello and welcome,

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
There are two possibilities:
1. The chances of pregnancy are there and this may be implantation bleeding that occurs when the baby attaches to the uterus. A urine pregnancy test will come positive after 7-10 days. A blood test will come positive now. You may wait for 7 days and get pregnancy test or a blood test now to confirm.
2. This may be your period.
Wait and check if the bleeding increases after a day or two. If yes this is a period. If no, get a pregnancy test done after 7 days.
