Could Isosorbide Monoitrate Cause Spacey Feeling, Nausea With Shortness Of Breath And Chest Discomfort?
I have been given a new drug. I need to know the side effects.isosorbide mononitrate for imdur. I ve been feeling spacey and a little nauseated all day. I took the first pill last night. I had been having shortness of breath and chest discomfort. I had open-heart surgery 2 years ago.

isosorbide is a drug that improves your heart's blood circulation. it may occasionally cause spacey feeling and nausea. But your symptoms of chest pain and brething difficulty can be related to your heart, as already you had cardiac problem.
Instead of suspecting the drug, pleae get a cardiac consultation to rule out any ongoing cardiac ischemia.
