Could Marijuana Cause Increased Heart Rate?

I have a pacemaker. Implanted at 15 due to a congenital AV block. I am a marijuana user. I've noticed the increased heart rate associated with the drug. I just would like to know if I'm playing with fire in that respect. Do I have to fear a heart attack after smoking it?

cannot say in your particular case without seeing the ekg AND... yes in a couple ways.
There is slight euphoria and slight increased heart rate. There is slight flushing and a bit of lowering blood pressure if you stand up rapidly (orthostatic hypotension). In general, neither of these are significant/dangerous/etc. they're generally only noticeable if you're looking for them.
