Could Migraine Cause Prolonged Headache With Painful Bump Over The Eye?

Good Evening, My Husband is 40 yrs old. He has had a pretty bad headache for several hours- has taken Advil with no relief. Over the last couple of hours he has noticed a lump or bump on his forehead over his left eye that hurts. He has not been stung by anything that we are aware of. Could this be a migraine symptom or an allergic reaction to something? Should he take more Advil, Benadryl or something for sinus? Just curious what this could be a symptom of?? Thank you for your help. Johanna Robinson

inmy opinion present head ache may be related to bump over eye which is infectious origin. hot phomantation may be done. antibiotic course like augmantin may be taken for 7days. but one thing is simple refraction should be done. near vision defect for presbyopia should be tested. if any defect detected should be corected by specs. no madvil or benadryl is requered to be taken. it is also not sinositis. it is not migraine since not associated with aura or vomiting.
