Could My Lower Back And Abdominal Pain, Which Worsens After Sitting And Improves With Movement, Be Related To A Past Bladder Infection?

Horrible lower back and abdominal pain when getting up. It subsided a little after walking and going to the bathroom. It started after sitting for a long period in a soft chair at someone’s house. A few years ago I had a bladder infection. Wondering if it’s related.

Hi,

Your pain is not related to past infection but points to rheumatic pain. Get tests as CBC, ESR, and CRP. Consult your doctor with your reports for further diagnosis and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder, General & Family Physician
