Could Numbness In Legs/feet Be Related To Potassium Levels?

I've been taking Potassium for some time now and now my doctor says my levels are OK....I'm experiencing some numbness in my legs and feet now...could the potassium level be the cause and should I discontinue taking the potassium in case that the high level is the cause?
