Could On And Off Itchy Hives On Body, Flu With Chills, Vomiting, Cough And Congestion Be Due To Taking Victoza?

Hello. I have been taking victoza for almost two years and over a period of time I get itchy hives all over my body but with medicine it goes away and then comes back. Recently I have been feeling like I have the flu with chills, vomiting, cough and congestion, back pain, knee stiffeness. Can all this be affiliated with the Victoza?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe these symptoms are definitely due to the victoza, and they became continuous, and increasing in intensity. more over it may be difficult to find the difference between the allergic reaction, and the natural infection.
I advise you to consult your doctor and stop the drug, by tapering for few days. Other wise there could be diarrhea.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
