Could Outbreak Of Hives Be The Normal Side Effect Of Tretinoin?

are hives a side effect of tretinoin. i recently started putting tretinoin and one night forgot to put it on the next night i put olive oil as i usually do before applying tretinoin and got big looking rashes on my checks...is this normal? or should i stop using tretinoin
