Could Pain In Wrist And Forearm After Carrying Heavy Weight Indicate Strained Muscle?

I ws carrying a large box and started to lose grip w my right hand and twisted my right hand and forearm to keep the box from falling. My wrist and forearm have hurt ever since - 4 weeks ago. It doesn t throb, it hurts when I move it certain ways and if I put pressure on certain parts of my forearm. Is this a strained muscle or ligament? Suggested treatment?

Hello. Thanks for writing to HCM.
I read and understand your question very well.
I try my level best to help you.

As per you question your wrist and forearm are hurt and you fell pain. This is occur due to overburden on your muscle and joint. Muscle get fatigue due to this and joints , ligaments are damage by this.
I advise you to take rest for some days and also give rest to your wrist and forearm. I suggest to apply hot water over pain area, also take Tab.Dan P when ever you feel pain. This will turn to normal when your muscle get strength back.
Please do this for one week and after that you don't feel better than consult a good orhthopaedic surgeon for this.

I hope my advice will help you a lot.
Thanks and Regards.
