Could Pain On Top Of Head Be Due To Metoprolol Taken For Fluctuating High Blood Pressure ?

My wife has fluctuating high blood pressure from 185/100 to 135/65 with pulse from 82 to 63. She takes a blood pressure medicine, metoprolol. She feels that this is also causing her dizziness at tims. She has been taking it for 5 years now and gets dizzy from time to time. She also gets a pain in the top of her head at times. Could this be caused by the medicine?
