Could Periods After 4 Years With Pain In Back And Neck Muscles With History Of Firomyalgia Be Onset Of Menopause?
I have not had a menstral cycle going on four years now. I am 42 and the rest of my female family members started in menapause at around the same age. For the last two months I have had what seemed to be a normal cycle with discomfort and bleeding. I have ruptured discs in my back and fibromigia, but have had an increase in my pain both in my back and muscles lately. Not sure if it is due to holiday activity and weather or something else. But now with these new symptoms, not sure if they might some how be related. I've put a call into my ob and haven't heard back yet .
Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM Since you have described that you are in the peri menopausal phase and that are there is pain and displacement in the disc . This could be due to the loss of the elasticity and the loss of bone density which are common in the peri menopausal phase osteoporosis. These symptoms are coinciding with the fibromyalgia symptoms too Therefore for the treatment give gabapen and pregabalin salts . plus i would advice you take vitamin d as per the gynecologist Please consult your doctors and seek advice regarding the bone density test done and take care
