Could Periods With Large Blood Clots Be Related To Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis?

I have Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. I understand that this can affect my hormone levels. I have had this disease for over 10 years. I started my period last Monday, and am passing very large blood clots. I am wondering if this is to due with my PSC or not? I will be 50 next month and have had no signs of clots like this before. I don't currently have any signs of menopause. I am beginning to wonder if my Hemoglobin may be dropping as a result of this blood loss? I was also diagnosed last Monday, after a colonoscopy of being in a UC relapse. Could this be affecting my period?
