Could Recurring Palpitations Be Due To Some Heart Disease?

I have palpatations, I am 50 y/o female. My father died at 48 and had his first heart attack at 36. These palpatations have lasted over a year and they are every day mostly all day and night long. PVC's nothing to worry about okay but "could it be heart disease? and what test's would be best??"

Hi. Palpitations can be very distressing for anyone. To rule out the cause of Palpitations and the type to see if any cardiac disorder is there I would recommend you to have an Electrocardiogram for structural heart disease and a 24 hr Holter monitoring for the type of arrhythmia if any. Moreover if at all there is no cardiac anomaly seen then I would advice you to undergo test for metabolic parameters to rule out other causes.
