Could Red Hives On Elbows And Plaques On Thighs Be Due To Dermovate Cream?

Hi. I have been prescribed Dermovate cream twice daily for 4 weeks, as I have a skin condition around the anus = applying 1 Finger Tip Unit in the morning and evening. I have been taking the treatment for 3 weeks. Recently I had a cold and at the same time encountered what I believe to be hives on the outside of both elbows. Despite taking a antihistamine daily, the hives appear very red on the elbows and today I have some plaques also on both thighs. I am wondering if it is related to the Dermovate cream..

The oint ment contains steroid and analgesic. it is generaly prescribed in external piles. Regarding hives in elbow and taking antihistaminic is correct. you can apply caladryl ointment over plaque. they are not related to dermovate.
