Could Redness In Toes And Palms Indicate Raynaud S Syndrome?

While my podiatrist checked my toes, he mentioned that due to the redness on the bottom of my toes and some redness on the palms of my hands, he recommended I see a cardiologist for (I m not sure how to spell it), Reynous Syndrome ? It s the wrong spelling because I can t find it on the net. Can you tell me how to spell it and anything you may know about it? Thank you for your help! Laurel

Hi,

Raynaud's occurs in about 20% of young healthy women who about never have a heart or other serious condition. It is certainly more common with things that affect blood vessel tone. This can include cigarettes, stimulant abuse, rarely autoimmune disease, cold exposure, some BP medications, and COVID-19.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
