Could Severe Pain In Upper Abdomen Along With Vomiting Be Due To Pancreatitis?

My 45 year old son had severe pain in his upper abdomen plus vomiting. He went to urgent care and they sent him by squad to the hospital. He was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Morphine did not diminish the pain so they put him on something stronger. They did not give him anything to eat or drink by mouth for two days.
They started him on liquids On the third day and soft foods the fourth day. Now his stomach is very distended and he is cramping. Last night he started running a fever which got up to 103. They have done two ct scans and two X-rays and want to do another Catscan tomorrow. My question is should we get him to another hospital or keep him where he is? He went to the hospital on Friday. This is Tuesday and he is still sick. They have not found the cause of the pancreatitis. He does not drink and he has no gall stones.
