Could Sharp Pain And Bruising In Wrist After An Injury Mean It Is Broken?

I hurt my wrist accidentally by swinging something in the air n the swinging garage door perfectly hit my wrist. It was a little bruised but now its going away but its super tender. When I barely tap it on anything or accidentally bump it, it sends a sharp pain through my wrist. What could possibly be wrong? I don't think its broken or anything because I hardly feel any pain, just when I barely touch it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. No chances should be taken. I would advise to go for and X-ray as many injuries can cause atypical pain and presentation. The basic of fracture is - Pain - tenderness- inability use the part- swelling and may be redness.
