Could Sleeplessness Be A Result Of Social Problems?

hey sir,my name is ajay giri.I am doin engineering and now i'm in second year
My problem is i'm not able to talk to someone properly,bcoz of this my all friends always try to neglect me,with these i have several other problems like not sleeping well,use to dream whole night,please help with some measures?

Hi Ajay,

You seems to suffering from social anxiety disorder. Your difficulty in speaking to others could be explained on the basis of that. Anxiety is also one of the commonest reasons for sleep disturbances.

I would suggest you to consult a psychiatrist for proper evaluation of your condition. You might be needing treatment with medications like sertraline which are effective for your condition. Behavior therapy measures will also help. Relaxation exercises like deep breathing and progressive muscular relaxation will help you relax and maintain calm.
