Could Slight Rash On Front Part Of Legs Indicate Vasculitis?

I went to my dermatologist for another matter and casually asked her about a slight rash on front of both my legs. She said she thinks it is vasculitis and did blood work. She said she would call me in few days. I told her I was not sick recently, no change in meds etc. I ve had rash for about 10 days. Made mistake of looking on Internet. Do I need to worry?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have slight rash on front part of legs . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like psoriasis , atopic dermatitis , eczema , varicose and vasculitis . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to vasculitis as you mention in your query . Vasculitis is an inflammation of your blood vessels. It causes changes in the walls of blood vessels, including thickening, weakening, narrowing and scarring. I would suggest you to consult your doctor (dermatologist ) and get then diagnose for confirmation . Doctor may order blood tests , urine tests , CT scan and biopsy . Doctor may prescribe Corticosteroids for inflammation and immunosuppressant drugs .
