Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
We are adopting alittle girl who has IUGR. She is now 19months old (adjusted for 1 month prematurity) She is developing normally but her head is quite small for her age. Her small head size seems to be proportional and is growing at it s own curve but is still well below the normal range for children her age. Is this a cause for concern?
small head otherwise microcephaly has many reason and particularly in IUGR babies; not to worry now as long as she is catching her mile stones and you said it's growing with her centile curve.
