Could Stomach Pain Be Related To Mastoid Infection In Autistic Patient?
i have an autistic 8 year old boy , not very verbal. i also cannot take stock in many things he says because of verbal stimming . he often says tummy hurts , in all my autism googleing i came across chronic painful mastoid infection and self injurious behavior. aggression and hurting me and himself are a big problem. every time i google this mastoid thing i get ear related articles. which he has had his share of. but what is this in relation to tummy hurts

I think you have a bit if confusion regarding the terminologies. Because ' mastoid ' is related to ears. Probably if you had put ' Gastrointestinal infection' then you would have got the correct response.
Well, tummy hurts are common in Autistic kids. Due to this pain the kids tend to get hyperactive . So probably you have to deal with the situation, sorry about it.
