Could Sudden Lowering Of Blood Pressure Be A Matter Of Concern?

My husband is under the care of a blood pressure specialist and his blood pressure tonight was 76/50. He fainted after getting up off the sofa and bending down. Is this dangerous? He is on a number of pressure pills to keep his pressure low (but not that low.)

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
You have not mentioned exactly what medicines your husband is taking.
Your husband's low BP along with symptoms like fainting is a matter of concern. If he is on several BP lowering drugs and having such symptoms then doses of these medications must be adjusted or some of them need to be stopped.
I advise you consult your Cardiologist to adjust the dosage of your husband's medicines.
Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks for your question.
Take care.
