Could Swelling In Feet Along With Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Be The Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

I started bleeding before my period time... it looked like implantation bleeding. I had it for 3 days, but then I started bleeding more heavier for about 4 days there after. At first I thought I was pregnant, but the with the heavier period I m not to sure...as I was always told you cant be pregnant if you bleeding to heavy... My left foot started swelling a few days ago, my calves and ankles are fine it s just the top of my foot and my toes that are swollen. When i was pregnant with my daughter, I experienced this swelling in both my feet in my last trimester of my pregnancy... I m urinating all the time, I m extremely tired and my tummy is really bloated... I ve taken a pregnancy test and it was negative. So I really have no idea what is wrong with me... Please advise????? General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Swelling on the feet and toes can be indicative of water retention or high salt intake. It may be indicative of varicose veins, kidney or thyroid dysfunction, circulatory problems, anemia, etc. Sometimes, it may be indicative of pregnancy associated with hypertension. Cut on extra salt intake, avoid sedentary life. Do regular walking to help better circulation.

Get clinically examined, get blood tests like T3, T4, TSH, CBC, blood sugar (F/PP), Hb%, Urinalysis, imaging tests done to detect any underlying disease that may be causing such symptoms. Get clinically examined to detect bulky uterus. Get USG (Uterus with fallopian tube), sono to detect ectopic pregnancy, polyp, fibroid, endometriosis, etc. To get rid of bloating, take PPIs, one when needed. Avoid taking oily, spicy or fried food. Get liver function tests done. Take digestives.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
