Could Taking In Toexforge Amlodiphine For High BP Cause Weightloss With Slight Pain In Chest?
Good day. I have been having chest pains for over two years. I have been on amlodiphine. The pain reduced so much after. In august last year the pain continued and blood pressure increased. I went to see my doctor who carried out several tests after which he said I was OK but I should do more exercises and changed my drugs toexforge amlodiphine which he claimed was more powerful. I have been doing that but recently I noticed I m reducing in weight and there are slight pains in the chest. Please doctor. Advise.
Asthenia (abnormal loss of strength) not weight loss is associated with Valsartan component of the drug. Mild chest discomfort, palpitations can be the side effects of either of the component of the drug.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
