Hi I have recently started to get chest pains and went to my doctors about it and they have put it down to scar tissue from where i had open heart surgery when i was 4. I just wondered if this is caused by scar tissue or if there is something else wrong?
Thanks for your question on HCM. in my opinion you should get done chest x ray and ultrasound examination of local part. As pain in suture site suggest infection, inflammation or pus formation. So we need to rule out these first. So get done ultrasound examination and rule out all these. We also need to get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection as cause of pain. If everything above is normal than no need to worry much. It is just a pain due to scar. Take painkiller for relief.
